😷 Lockdown Times 😷

I still remember that day

that first zoom class,

On seeing the meeting link

I felt like, "Alas!"

It was a sense of excitement

mixed with a bit of downcast,

wondering how my vacations

came to an end so fast!

With that we began our first class,

virtually met our new classmates,

Unaware of the challenges and memories

that our destiny awaits..

Assignments became our daily chores,

the video projects, the ppt,

"Please extend the due date ma'am!"

was every student's plea.

"Have you done today's assignment?"

"Oh god.....I forgot!"

"Hurry up because this assignment

closes at 12 pm dot!"

Then came the restless nights

resulting in sleepy mornings,

but somewhere was the relief

of not facing teacher's scoldings.

Yeas and years later

when we'll look back at this time,

We'll realize how gleamingly

these quirky memories shine.

Nothing lasts forever

not even this pandemic,

we surely will go to school one day

and that would be EPIC.

All we can do now 

is have hope and keep faith,

for someone has rightly said,

All good things to those who wait.....
